Monarch Teaching Technologies, Inc. was founded in 2005 by Bellefaire JCB and in partnership with Harvard Medical School/Children’s Hospital Boston’s Autism Language Program. Together they developed the visual learning software, VizZle™, a web-based, interactive activity tool for the K-12 special education market. VizZle™ transformed a uniquely effective visual language curriculum into the first interactive, web-based lesson creation and delivery system for the classroom and home. The software has been adapted for widespread use by schools, clinicians and parents of children with autism. The software is currently being used by more than 4,000 teachers and 30,000 students across 300 public school districts.
